This two Michelin star chef based near foodie mecca San Sebastian in the Gipuzkoa province in Spain joined the kitchen at one of the world’s best-known restaurants of Catalonian cuisine, Ferran Adrià’s elBulli, in 1993 until 1994.
In 1998, he went solo, opening his own restaurant in Errenteria which was awarded its first Michelin star in 2000 and its second five years later in 2005. Most recently it celebrated another year of two-Michelin-star status in the Michelin Guide Spain & Portugal 2014.
