On 19 March, Keri Moss, winner of Masterchef 2012, opened her first restaurant situated in the corner of Selfridges bespoke Women’s Designer Galleries on the second floor. Set in a beautifully designed art deco inspired room, it affords diners views out across iconic Oxford street. The focus of the restaurant is relaxed luxury and modern international cuisine, delivered by head chef Keri Moss. Some of chef Moss’s signature dishes, inspired by her time on Masterchef, will feature on the menu. Specialities include: Mackerel Tartare, crisp poached quail eggs, and apple, pancetta wafers.
A rather decadent marble bar will also offer a changing seasonal cocktail menu, champagne and an extensive wine list. Light-bite bar food, like salt cod, quails eggs, truffle chips and a British cheese board will also be available to those who want to stop in for a quick refreshing break, mid-shop, as well as a traditional ‘tea and cake’ menu, with weekly changing, seasonal cakes such as almond, black cherry and a delightful sounding white chocolate and passion fruit cake.
The a la Carte menu will be served Monday to Saturday, with a special Brunch menu on Sundays – think brioche French toast with maple syrup, Rockery free range eggs with sourdough and Bottisham smoked salmon.
