Michelin-starred Chef Marcus Wareing, whose rigorous standards were felt by Masterchef finalists this season, is a regular visitor to Aalto Restaurant at Hotel La Tour Birmingham where he oversees new dishes, helps with training and pays meticulous attention to ongoing service standards.
Here, he’s pictured with Head Chef at Aalto, Dan Pearce, and Brian Wareing – Marcus’s brother – who is in the kitchen on a daily basis as an onsite monitor overseeing operations for Marcus.
In an interview to mark Hotel La Tour and Aalto restaurant’s first birthday, Marcus said: “The single most important factor when people choose a restaurant is their expectation. They choose somewhere to dine based on their expectations. It’s then up to us to meet and exceed these in all areas – food, beverage, service and hospitality.”
