Jason Atherton has been building his culinary empire since opening his first restaurant, Table No.1 in 2010 and has now accumulated a plethora of awards that celebrate his prowess in the kitchen at his numerous restaurants. His ethos follows well sourced, fresh ingredients that are combined with technical accuracy to produce taste sensations. His restaurants vary from casual, comforting diners to fine-dining, Michelin star restaurants, all with wonderful success.

Chef Atherton began his culinary career working under the guidance of a host of Michelin starred chefs, including Pierre Koffmann, Nico Ladenis, and Marco Pierre White. In 2001, chef Atherton became the Executive Chef at Gordon Ramsay’s Verre concept in Dubai and later, the Executive Chef at Gordon Ramsay's Michelin starred Maze world-wide restaurants. He left the Ramsay holdings in 2010 to launch his own restaurant company, Jason Atherton Ltd.

Since 2010 Jason Atherton Ltd has been expanding with unrivalled succes; Table No. 1 opened in Shanghai in 2010, as well as other bars and bistros in Shanghai and Hong Kong, Pollen Street Social opened in 2011 in Mayfair, Social Eating House, Berners Tavern and Little Social opened in London and The Commune Social opened in Shanghai in 2013. Most recently, Jason is embarking on a new venture in London - City Social, which will focus on haute cuisine through fresh and well-sourced ingredients.
