In addition to dedicating all of Selfridge's 24 windows to the tastemakers who define our food experiences, the way we farm, challenging our perceptions of art in food, Selfridges will also play host to ‘Meet the Michelins’, an exciting and unique opportunity to sample inspiring dishes from the home counties most creative and talented chefs every Monday for five weeks in its London store. Customers will experience over 350 demo’s, in store sampling and food events from tantalising daily demonstrations with top chefs to walking tours of the confectionery and food halls, as well as introducing over 500 new products to the Food Hall.

The Windows

Seen by a weekly audience of over 1 million people per week, each window will showcase the innovators, boundary pushers and food designers that inspire and shake our food world and each window will be brought to life by artisan producers, creators and food artists highlighting their ‘art’ whether it be a gin distiller to an artistic window made entirely of cake. All the artisans taking part in the scheme will also display their products in-store within the FoodHall, and will host dedicated evening talks regarding their chosen profession. Confirmed artisans include Cannon & Cannon, Fabrique, Meringue Girls, Camden Town Brewery, Cambridge Gin, White Lyan, Wayward Plants, Scott Hove, Fernando Laposse.
