Not only is The Dolder Grand Zurich an illustriously luxurious hotel, but this year it becomes an epicurean's dream arena. Inviting guests, acclaimed chefs - including 27 Michelin stars - and renowned restauranteurs, the festival will take place from 18 - 21 September. 

In a bid to become the new gourmet highlight in Zurich, the festival will include culinary workshops, indulgent eight-course dinners created by Michelin starred chefs, and insider tips from some of the world’s top restaurateurs. 

With thirteen international masters of cooking performing over four days, the festival brings 27 Michelin stars and over 74 Gault-Millau points to Zurich. The hotel’s ownMichelin starred chef Heiko Nieder will be joined by the likes of Joachim Wissler (Restaurant Vendôme, Bergisch Gladbach, Germany), Benoît Violier (L’Hotel de Ville, Crissier, Switzerland) and Massimo Bottura (Osteria Francescana, Modena, Italy). 

Each night the hotel's The Restaurant will be taken over by one of the chefs to delight the guests. On 20 September the hotel will host culinary workships where guests can taste samples and pick up tips from some of The Dolder Grand’s preferred suppliers, who will be discussing all things caviar, chocolate, cheese, wine and champagne. 

Culiminating on the 21 September, the festival's highlight will be a gastronomic tasting extravaganza, with live cooking stations featuring nine Michelin-starred chefs, including the hotel’s own Heiko Nieder and the likes of Arnaud BignonTim Raue, Esben Holmboe Bang, Dieter Koschina, François Geurds, Jean Sulpice, Johannes King and Rolf Fliegauf in this grand gourmet final. 

Gourmands can take in the gastronomic delights of this inaugural festival with the Epicure Package, with a one night stay at the Dolder Grand, including breakfast, 8-course Epicure Dinner with wine pairing, and full use of the Dolder Grand Spa. Prices start from £1,152 for two people.
