Grand Chef Silvio Nickol is at the helm of Relais & Châteaux property, Palais Coburg's restaurant Silvio Nickol. His cuisine combines classic French flavours with Austrian flare, and modern technique.
Chef Nickol has moved through the kitchen of some of the best restaurants in the world, including Lothar Eiermann's two-star restaurant, Forest & Schlosshotel, Friedrichsruhe and three star restaurant Harald Wohlfahrt. Under his culinary leadership, the Castle star in Schloss Velden am Wörthersee, that restaurant was awarded two Michelin stars. Since 2011 he has been at the helm of Silvio Nickol Gourmet Restaurant in Vienna Palais Coburg, which was awarded two michelin stars in 2012 among other awards.
