Swayed-by-the-best, perhaps, but we at FOUR really do love Gaggenau. It effervesces with slick designs and always seems one step ahead of what we want in our kitchens. The “Made in Germany” label has really never looked better. It’s unsurprising, I guess, considering the company’s extensive history – having been launched over 330 years ago – and its revolutionary design of domestic kitchen appliances and products.
This year at EuroCucina, Milan, Gaggenau will be showcasing the elemental association of bread and wine, and will be doing what it does best – making home appliances look amazing.
Gaggenau essentially stands for exclusive culinary culture and sophisticated lifestyle. Needless to say, some of the best chefs, vintners, sommeliers and other epicurean aficionados stand by the brand proudly.
This year at EuroCucina vintner Elisabetta Foradoir, slow baker and ambassador of the Grano d’Oro 1574 Initiative Ingo Rasche, and chef, restaurateur and author Cesare Casella explore the origins of culinary culture. From bread baked to centuries-old recipes and wines that mature in tune with lunar cycles, there’s a treat for every visitor at the Gaggenau booth, with small delicacies from authentic Italian cuisine served in accompaniment.
“Focus on essentials, but don’t take away the poetry”, says designer-in-chief Sven Baacke, who heads up the design team of five. Together they believe in beautiful, logical and inspiring design that heightens every user’s quality of life. It’s no wonder we’re in love…
