At the helm of Roberta's since 2013, Nick Barker is one of San Francisco's Central Kitchen Restaurant's alumn. Now making the most of Roberta's garden's seasonal produce, the chef specialises in freshly made pizzas and sides, made with a light touch, refined skills and combining unusual ingredients.

After graduating high school Nick gained experience at London's esteemed Kensington place under chef Rowley Leigh and in kitchens in Los Angeles and Cape Cod. He then embarked on a life changing path into the world of fine-dining at Manresa in Los Gatos, California, where he developed his culinary skills for 2 years. Having completed a stage at Attica in Melbourne, he then returned to San Francisco to be opening Sous Chef at Central Kitchen. 

Most recently, Nick moved to Roberta's, where he is Head Chef in the renowned restaurant.
