The House of Krug is outdoing itself this April at this exhibition that brings some of the world’s best classical music and champagne together. Guests will be led through a digital installation that follows the journey of the development of champagne and the Philharmonia Orchestra symphonies, all with a glass of Krug Grande Cuvée at hand.
Imagine, the first grapes are picked as a single violinist solo plays, building up and developing until the end of the installation where you will experience the full Orchestra playing Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring, while sipping on the process’ end product, a glass of Krug Grande Cuvée.
It really is a combination of the finest, as Cellar Master Eric Lebel and the Tasting Committee have selected around 120 of the best wines from over 400 to create the Krug Grande Cuvée, hence it being deemed some of the world’s best and meticulously created Champagnes. Esa-Pekka Salonen, Principle Conductor and Artistic Advisor of the Philharmonia Orchestra brings over 100 musicians and 30 different instruments together for the digital installation RE-RITE. There really can be nothing finer in life...
The experience will take place in Shoreditch from the 7 to 11 April and can be booked online from 12 March at www.krug.com; £60 per person for two glasses of Krug Grande Cuvee and the full music experience of an hour and a half.
