Where others laboriously scale the career ladder step by step, the youthful chef from Lower Saxony has arrived as if in flight. In his early 20s, Fehling travelled around the world as the executive chef in the Restaurant Venezia on the MS Europa. He learned to be creative with top-class products from all over the world. Cooking became his calling. “I am always striving to further improve – it’s not a pressure, more of a gut instinct,” says the executive chef, describing his passion.

Kevin Fehling’s style is described as “refined avant-garde”, and his surprising creativity with flavours and textures is praised. He dominates his craft – that is his compulsory exercise. His stylistics and creativity are the freestyle event.
